Joe is US CEO of UM, a global media agency named Campaign’s 2022 “Media Agency Global Network of the Year,” a top 10 FORTUNE “Best Places to Work in Advertising & Marketing” and a Forrester Media Agency Wave “Leader.” As US CEO, Joe leads strategy, direction and operations of UM’s largest market, with oversight of clients like USPS, Rocket Mortgage and E.J. Gallo, among others. A transformative leader and digital entrepreneur, Joe is an expert at harnessing first-party data and technology to deliver business results for clients, creating meaningful connections between humans and brands.

Joe champions UM’s commitment to Diversity, Equity and Belonging, sustainability, media responsibility and marketplace equity. Committed to nurturing ethical leadership, Joe has personally created personal and professional development tracks for rising stars and high potential leaders. In 2022, Joe was named a UM Male ‘MAKER’ in recognition of his allyship with the women’s movement and female upward mobility. He was also honored as a 2022 AdAge “40 Under 40.”

Prior to UM, Joe was named one of the youngest CEOs ever at Publicis Groupe, where he led Hawkeye, the holding company’s global CRM center of excellence, with clients like Google, AT&T, Capital One, and FedEx. Under his leadership, the agency quadrupled in size.

While at Publicis Groupe, Joe was named Practice Lead of the holding company’s $2BN CRM business. He was head of digital at Saatchi/Team One on the Toyota/Lexus account. And he led the T-Mobile and Honda/Acura accounts while at Razorfish.

In 2016, Joe founded TiltShift, the world’s first agency dedicated to AR/VR/xR. In 2010, Joe co-founded CloudTix, the world’s first cloud-based mobile ticketing platform.

Joe is dedicated to professional development and giving back to his community through guest lecturing and work with non-profits.
